In brief
- Corso Giannone takes you straight into the Royal Park, and you can see just as much as from the main entrance.
- The ticket office has been open since 1 October 2026; in November and December its hours are 8:30 to 14:30.
- For the palace, park and English Garden the official website recommends Piazza Carlo di Borbone; for the park and English Garden only, Corso Giannone.
- Cyclists can only enter from Corso Giannone.
Two entrances, the same visit
| Piazza Carlo di Borbone | Corso Giannone | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | Opposite the station, in the middle of the façade | On the park side, towards the town centre |
| Ticket office | 8:30–18:00 | Hours change with the month |
| Free Sunday tickets | Park and Apartments, Park only | Park only, without the English Garden |
| Bicycles | Not allowed | The only entrance for bikes |
| Access for people with disabilities | Priority entrance | |
| ArteCard Campania | Holders must enter here |
The palace website explains that choosing one entrance or the other does not change the route of your visit. What changes is the distance: from Piazza Carlo di Borbone you go into the palace and come out into the park through the Cannocchiale, the passage that runs through the building; from Corso Giannone you are among the trees of the park straight away.
